We haven't had much snow here but it been highs 15-20 deg and my car was looking like crap. Okay today was 30 with wind bringing back to 20 but I said the hell with it and did a rinse less wash after spraying each panel first with a lubricant.,

Outcome car looks great

neighbors think IM NUTS.

What rw did you use, any freezing ?

It's not worth it to wash right now especially if they use salt on your roads. Car will look like crap after five minute of driving.

End rant....i hate winters lol

You are very about the salt part but that's fun about this whole
detailing process is to make your ride clean as possible whatever the weather, and go get it dirty again, and clean it over again its a endless cycle.

I don't blame you! I cleaned my car today in the middle of getting 3+ Inches of snow.

I would have done it too.. lol.. You are not alone! :)

Welcome to the club. My neighbors already think I am crazy as well. Every time I do a waterless wash on my Bee to remove the thin layer of dust and some water splatter near the rockers, they keep asking me why I am cleaning my car when it is already clean.

Agreed. My neighbors thinks I'm crazy as well. I'm always detailing my truck. One neighbor told me I was going to clean the paint right off. Ohhhh the uninformed. :)

i'm not sure why i agree, but i do. Its an endless process here in the north east. After 3-4 days of that white salt drying on the side of the cars i start freaking out...hahhaahahahaha....its gotta go, its gotta go, got to get it clean....prepare the rubber room for me! i have a pretty good routine down now. Pressure wash the car regardless of temp...don't care, just blast the dirt off, and get in the garage as fast as possible. Pre spray with pinnacle waterless, and then ONR using warm water (it helps my hands)...cars are clean in 1 hour (for both)...but then as others have mentioned, 5 minutes out on the roads, and i am freaking out again... BUT at least there is that sense of calm when they look great, and it is all SO worth it. Regarding freezing, experienced it a little the other night while in the garage using ONR...i just warmed up the water a tad more and it was fine. :bash:

Its 39 here today , so im going to rw my wifes car . I did it last sunday so its been a week. But it is covered in road salt now . I might give megs wash and wax anywhere a try first . .
