Strokin04 said:Nick, I have some PB ssw and remember reading that you didn't like it and some else said that the paint felt grabby when dryed. Well I was wondering if I added some DP 4-in-1 w/ ssw if this would maybe make the ssw better? Or do you have a different additive to help out the ssw? I have 32oz and now I wish that I got the sss instead. Mike...
Depends on what you have at home. And that is my personal experience, and I just expected more from it. I in no way, didn't want people to by it, but just a heads up.
You can try adding some 4-in-1, but it's not sudsy, if that's what you're looking for. Depending on what you have at home, purchasing a small bottle of Meg's GC could help. Also spraying a QD would help, but that's additional step, not that I don't enjoy working on my cars, its just another step. There's washes out there that are slick, so why waste time with another step? See where I'm going..
Try SSW, you may like it! Who knows, and need not to make changes. I think playing around, (not in it, Lauren) is probably the best thing; it allows me to be a "pretend" chemist and create a perfect blend of whatever I'm doing. Even when polishing I use a little #83 with OC, for longer work times, as #83 is more watery. There's endless combinations for everything. Probably from tire gel, to sealants, to wax, to cleaners, the list goes on and on. Detailing is more than detailing, it allows me to create!
