Power Lock is what I use now. Good product, no problems with trims and plastics.

As everyone else said, NuFinish is really durable. Easy on/easy off if you apply it thin. If it did not stain trim, I would still occasionally use it. It would be nice if NF could produce a non-staining version without the cleaners.

I don't think there are any over the counter products that last as long. I have recommended it in the past when folks wanted my services but couldn't afford them. Those that scoff at it obviously have never used it.

A long time ago I used it on both my road bike and my first car. It is very durable, and I remember it beading water really well.

The one down side I remember was it was hard to apply evenly. I always ended up with streaks on the hood and roof of my maroon car.

I usually applied by hand to avoid trim and door cracks but I did machine apply for larger suv's which helped considerably to get thin even layers. Like the bottle says it's best applied with a damp applicator, I simply ran my foam pads under water and rung them out before starting. A damp applicator and slow speed on the DA resulted in virtually 0 sling on the trim.

I used it for years back in the 80's and 90's. It was easy to work with and had good durability.

One thing about NuFinish is thet it dries white in all the cracks , and you have to be very careful around plastic because it stains .

My dad used this stuff when I was a kid about 20-25 years ago. It does the job but it dusts a lot and the looks are just ok...

Nu Finish is fairly easy to use, just stay away from black trim...

That's what I was gonna say. I like the stuff for it's durability, ease of use and all that but you have to be super careful around trims and plastics so I stopped using it because I don't want to have to mask the entire car for apply a sealant.

This was the first sealant/wax/LSP I ever learned to use as a young guy. My dad swore (and still swears by it). It is a very good and durable product at a great price. The issue I had was what is bolded in the above posts, I hated all the dusting especially. I'm still finding traces of that stuff in cracks from the last time I used it (which was like 8 yrs ago).
