It's not that people care, I go out and pursue the work. I approach people who's cars are in bad shape and ask them if they'd allow me to detail their car and they tell their friends and so on. I go to used car lots and offer my services to them at a very discounted rate for the first car to show what I do, then charge them a rate I'm comfortable with, which is lower than I'd charge a single person since dealers give more work, they deserve a bigger discount than an individual. Long story short, I just go get the work. I don't wait for it to come to me.

DOH! Sorry CTS-Veo, I just realized you had more reply under that pic. I use a Fujifilm 6.3MP Point and shoot camera. Nothing special. I use the macro setting for the close ups and hold my breath for every photo. I also set the focus plane by using my finger as the focus point for the auto-focus and then remove my finger to take the picture as the camera will auto-focus on the objects it sees most clearly or closest, which is my finger. That way, instead of the camera focusing on the reflections in the pictures, it focuses on the surface of the paint, showing the defects or anything sitting on top of the paint, such as water beads.
