O.C.Detailing (Lynchburg, VA.) - 1987 Mercedes 300 SDL (Acrylic overspray removal HELL!) 77 Pics!!!

That is why I really want to take a road trip to a big city with companies who know what they are doing. Also, how is it that you get to detail all of those wonderful vehicles? I know your area is a 100% different area from where I'm located at. People there take pride in what they own and drive. Down here, LOL, sure sure. I want to get away from living down here as soon as possible.

It's not that people care, I go out and pursue the work. I approach people who's cars are in bad shape and ask them if they'd allow me to detail their car and they tell their friends and so on. I go to used car lots and offer my services to them at a very discounted rate for the first car to show what I do, then charge them a rate I'm comfortable with, which is lower than I'd charge a single person since dealers give more work, they deserve a bigger discount than an individual. Long story short, I just go get the work. I don't wait for it to come to me. :D

But of course. :props:

Thank you very much Steven C. Now to get my hands on a worthy rotary and start REALLY learning how to correct. ;)

This picture is awesome!

You sure are a picture #####... You must have a hard drive filled up with pictures just from your details. JK Your pictures come out really clean. What camera do you use?

heh Thanks CTS-Veo. I loved how it looked so alien from normal water-beading, so needed to take a couple pictures of it. :D

DOH! Sorry CTS-Veo, I just realized you had more reply under that pic. I use a Fujifilm 6.3MP Point and shoot camera. Nothing special. I use the macro setting for the close ups and hold my breath for every photo. I also set the focus plane by using my finger as the focus point for the auto-focus and then remove my finger to take the picture as the camera will auto-focus on the objects it sees most clearly or closest, which is my finger. That way, instead of the camera focusing on the reflections in the pictures, it focuses on the surface of the paint, showing the defects or anything sitting on top of the paint, such as water beads. ;)

I hate the Fuji Camera I bought a while back. sucks. I wish the Sony Digi Cam. that I've had for 10 years, had a Sony battery available for it. It's an AWSOME digi cam. :(
