I work inside a warehouse working with glass, while glass is having the edges seamed it creates glass dust. This glass dust and heavy dirt/dust is starting to effect my facial skin. I'm starting to have pimples appear here and there much more then normal (normal being I rarely get them). During the summer the warehouse temps reach 120* and everything sticks to the skin. With the pores open due to the heat my skins gets clogged a bit. I'm looking for a facial cleaner & moisturizer & scrub and they must smell like race fuel (j/k but I'm really not :(). I've been recommended Baxter of California & Anthony Logistics. Anybody here used this stuff before (found on menessentials.com)? What are you using & how do you like it? and were are you getting it? Ladys please feel free to give your 2 cents by all means. Ya'll would know more then most of use any who Feed back please.

i am a huge anthony fan. I use there shave creams, face washes, cleansers, toners ect. I really like there products. They work wel and are not that expsenive.
As fro baxter. Im not such a hugefan.. dosent seem special to me.
Everybodys skin is diffrent, so keep in mind you will have to try a few diffrent products.
Also perhaps a clay mask may help. I use them once a month and they really help clear out the poors, which helps prevent the pimples.

Well i just admited it.. i spend way to much time infront of the miror

I have some parts washer fluid that I bottled up the other day. It was sitting in a parts washer in my garage and hadn't been touched for about 10 years, there was just a little sludge in the bottom, its yours if you pay for shipping, I got about ten gallons, should last you awhile...

I saw your post in autopia which is why I started this thread. I want to get a variety of post to see whats working and whats not. I do like Anthony's prices so far, I'm starting to lean more toward that brand. Not sure I'm quit ready for a mask to be honest :o.
dontsleeponit I prefer diesel fuel and turpentine ;).

I used to buy a combo lotion made by my dermatologist. It was costly. I ask him what I should buy if I ran out and was away (traveled a few years). He said, "Coppertone they started it all". Who'd of guessed.

dont forget your mask

i work in the Hospital and steal the N95s all the time
i want a few N100s =)

What is that stuff that Jessica Simpson uses? My wife uses that.

If you are talking about accutane, no. The stuff that jessica simpson endorses is Proactive. That did not work for me.
Accutane is a Rx pill that shrinks the size of your oil glands under your skin. And, in turn shrinks your pores. It has ALOT of side effects though, must of which can be stopped by simply drinking alot of water. Accutane is the miracle drug for acne prone skin. If you can deal with the side effects for about 6 months.

Tried proactive, didnt work. One of the best I have ever used is called clean and clear advantage kit. It really works.

My ex was in this field and used to practice on me (I used to hate that but now miss it.. crazy I know)

The best stuff she had for me was:

Dermalogica
Aveda

When we 1st splitt I thought I could cheap out and use anything OTC but my skin had grown accustomed to good stuff and it freaked out when I treid OTC stuuf.

Accutane is for really pimply prone skin which I'm not. I'm just looking for a good face scrub, cleaner, moisturizer. I'm getting more and more pimples in random spots due to the heavy dust/dirt environment I work in.

Real cavemen don't worry about skin care. I really don't have any suggestions wytstang. About the only thing I put on is sunscreen.

Vitamin B5 powder (pantothenic acid) will help clear it up. About 2-3 grams/day and you will see an improvement. I used it and I didn't take it for longer than a week. Alot of body builders and weight lifters use it. Along with a good cleanser. My dermatoligist (sp?) told me along time ago to use products with salycidic (Sp? again) acid in them. Neutrogena face wash (orange liquid) has it.

Real men also don't care about pitted front ends on their cars....hmmm is Gary a mans man?? :D

I just use some face wash, think Biore or something like that, love it as it leaves a fresh feeling but doesn't dry your skin out.

The only thing real men worry about is their car. :p
:iagree: amen to that.

You ever thought about using over the counter stuff. I've used boutique stuff before like Kiehls and Zirh and they work just fine but I didn't really notice any difference compared to the stuff your get at the drug store for half the price.

Mine does too .... I actually like the occasional facial but the scent of sulfur is a little wierd !
