A 1998 Toyota Supra twin turbo 6 speed, in its Imperial Jade Mica green paint job - evidently 1 of 14 TT 6 speed Supras in existence with this color - came through for a much needed revival.

As you can see in the photo above the paint is certainly faded and in desperate need of correction. So over the course of three days we focused primarily on getting the depth, clarity and gloss back from the paint as well as the rest of the defects. Unfortunately, there was severe sun burn on the bumpers that completely diminished the clear in certain spots. However, there was a huge overall improvement to both remove and prevent future fading.

Heres how the Supra looked when we started..

Here is a mix of before and after photos of the correction/restoration to the paint, starting with the wing before we removed it:

The rear bumper fading, the spots remaining are areas where the clear coat has completely oxidized away, no repair through detailing unfortunately

Overall gloss improvement short of the permanent blemishes

The greatest improvement seen on the car was the hood, which suffered oxidation, marring and water staining. Here you can see the before, during and after results.

My feedback is that you did a brilliant job. And that is a beautiful car. What products did you use?

That looks 100% better. Great job correcting the paint surface.

Great job Oakes! You brought back this rare beauty's paint back to life! It's really amazing what proper detailing can do to a neglected paint finish.

Amazing turnaround, With the first pics I was convinced it couldn't be brought back nearly as well as you did. Great job, and with the rest of the people I am interested in what products/process you used.

The owner had to have been stoked when seeing that! Primo work. :dblthumb2:

Great job bring that neglected classic back to life. I am surprised that clear held up to polishing and turned out as well as it did on the front and rear fascias. Always quality from you guys!:xyxthumbs:
But, what is up with the calipers? Looks like they didn't clean up very well, or need a complete refurbish.

Amazing work. Supras are probably my most favorite car of all time. Nice to see you brought the paint back to life.
