Observation of CMA Closing by Max

Frankly I am not surprised. I have spent thousands of dollars with these people over the years and at no time did I ever feel that they appreciated my business. Their customer service was terrible too

I'm one of the posters in the other thread, and I sure hope I wasn't being referred to as ridiculous. I just thought that an update of some kind from a PAC employee would be appropriate so I solicited for one (not too much to ask). I've not purchased that much from them (I'd say I get 95% of my goods from right here), so when I didn't receive a shipping confirmation and seeing some of the others with issues I began to get a little nervous myself since I don't know PAC all that well. Perhaps there was no need for some of us to begin worrying about the money that was spent, and I certainly don't want to turn this thread into an argument, but it's just as inappropriate to call people ridiculous for being concerned about their orders and money spent (especially those of us that haven't dealt much with them).

:dunno: I dunno if you were one of the ones I read or not. But seriously... what do people expect in a situation like this? They are going out of business, and yes we've probably all bought something from a store going out of business... in person. At least then goods are in hand and it's an easy transaction. In this case, we have no idea how many people PAC has left working, or how much they are working. Chances are it's a skeleton crew at best. And further, they likely have had more orders than ever before with the clearance going on. I daresay the days since word spread of the 25% sale have been the busiest of that company's existence.

Obviously I'm guessing about that, but serves to reason that the owner isn't likely going to be paying his full staff (however many that was) til the bitter end.

Hell I just know that from my own personal experience in business, especially small business, all bets are damn near off when someone is going under. It's no big deal though, if I don't get my order after a few weeks I'll just contact my credit card company and have them do a chargeback. They've got my back so it's not much of an issue. :xyxthumbs::buffing:

Guys let's keep this friendly please. If you have concerns about your orders that needs to be addressed with CMA it's no reason to attack each other. Thank you!

No worries about me starting anything here Meghan. I'm a frequent visitor on this forum and want to keep it that way. I have no issues with anyone.

Figured I'd throw this up since it showed up on my doorstep a little while ago. FYI, I'm in a 3 day delivery area from the shipping location.

Got my Flex today. Ordered on Saturday, got the not so free shipping email on Monday and received everything by Friday, seems alright with me.

When the announcement was made one of the first posts I saw here was that AG out of respect for CMA would not price match I was duly impressed.

This is being a CLASS ACT by any measure.

Many thanks to AG for taking the high road.

Placed my order via Paypal on June 27th.

Got an e-mail on June 29th stating that one item of the four items I ordered was out-of-stock and if I wanted to I could cancel my entire order.
E-mailed them and told them I still want the remaining items sent to me.

Got a e-mail stating that my Paypal account was credited for that OOS item on the July 5th.

Received my items today, July 6th.

Not one complaint coming from me.

Sad to see Properautocare close :(

Jeff
