Observations w/ 106, questions.

Okay here is the picture I was talking about, I had already done one half of the hood and this is how I did the other half. I honestly can't say how thick the beads of polish are but they are not to thick. Again hope this helps.

That looks like too much product in those pics.

I apply a small blob onto my finger and apply four to six pea sized drops onto an area half the size of a front guard.
Then I spritz the pad with showroom glaze and begin at 600, up to 1100, up to 1500 to break it down fully and remove defects then back down to 800 to finish and it comes off in two seconds with a monster fluffy towel, no liquid needed.

If it is hard to remove like 85RD FP, you've worked it too long and that will cause holograms.

You shouldn't speed up again once you've got to 1500 rpm or speed 5-6 on PC. As soon as it goes clear, back down and refine the polish for a perfect reflection and rich colour.

Not my way but definately do it if it works for you

I probably use 2 to 3 oz of product per car whereas when I first got menzerna in 2004, I was using six inch line with every 3x3 ft area.

nice info flatstick,thanks

You are very welcome. I hate to see people using too much polish. you would be surprised how much is needed to do the job. just wanted to throw out my observations as I have used this stuff for a long time. like everybody else I learned through trial and error. glad somebody found the info useful.
