So I recently had a shutter blow off the front of my house in a storm. I went to Lowe’s to get a replacement but they didn’t have one in my size. They were faded after 19 years on the house and looked weathered.

When I got home I got a wild idea just to see what Solution finish would do to them. I ordered the large bottle a while ago and wouldn’t use that much on my personal cars in a hundred years. So I said what the hell. I never had any running or dripping on my car so I gave it a shot.

I wiped any high spots down prior to installing. I let them dry a couple days and hit them with the hose. They are perfect. No running. They look brand new. For once my wife is happy with my car supplies. Lol. I am going to wait a little while to make sure the test goes well. But I am thinking about doing the rest of the shutters before fall.

Anybody have any other off label uses?

Solution Finish is truly in the top 5 of all car products ever developed.

Now if only they made Solution Finish in a Forrest Green I wouldn't have to paint our shutters every few years !

That looks very sharp. Now are you going to top it with a coating or a sealant
