Official 2012 Detail Fest LIVE Feed Conversation Thread

Let me know if the audio improves

Sounding better to me. Hard to tell how well though unless there are many people in the room. The voices are definitely clearer though.

Now that there's a conversation going on, I can make a comment. The muffling effect is less but it's still there especially when the voices are loud. When the voices are lower (when you're not facing the camera) then the muffling goes away. Regardless, it's sounding much better! Thanks Yancy!

sounding better now, can hear the words of the song. i know it dont help the with garage echoing

sounds a lot better, but when your speaking loud especially towards the mic it is still distorted. At least I can understand whats being said now. Thanks.

I think this is a good start. The people who aren't able to make it to the show are being at least given a chance to learn aomething they may not have known before. However, there could have been so many things improved upon, and AG's revenue I'm SURE could have afforded it. This speaks volumes to me about what the real motivating factor is in this entire enterprise. I'll be limiting my purchases from AG for sure.

Wow!

Do you really think thats a fair statement? I know Max spends invests a ton of money putting on this event

do you not realize AG puts this on FOR FREE! they are doing the best the can with the tools they have, i would not let some minor quality issues of streaming video make you purchase less, that just makes no sense. sure the video was better last year, but its a trade off with streaming video you get good video bad sound, or good sound bad video....yancy is only one person and only so much he can do as he is the one who does the AV work for AG....most companys would be like "heres your video and sound you dont like it too bad" and not even try to fix the issue's forum members mentioned, yancy clearly has so that reflects on AG.

:iagree:

Yancy takes his job as serious as an Insurance adjuster

Still nothing just a blank screen at the top of the page I've tried everything even turned my firewall off guess it's telling me get back to work

I could not get it on laptop so I turned on pc-got it.
Need a media player I guess.

You're right. I thnk he DOES invest a ton of money in organizing this event. However, I believe he also reaps a ton as well. It's a business. What I'm saying is, with a business mentality, the other things he could've done to possibly reap even more, were not done. What about offering the classes as DVD's? You think they wouldn't sell? I have no doubt they would. And in order to offer a great quality product, you have to invest accordingly. This is just one suggestion I would make.
If you dont agree, fine. But look at last year's offering against this years.
