Official 2013 Detail Fest Photos - Setting up for the Show

i just hope i wont get too much rock chips from my long trip.....

Okay, Trucker John pulled out this evening from sunny SoCal in one of our big rigs, loaded to the gills for DetailFest.

He'll be there Thursday after a leisurely drive across the US, to the tune of 2,638 miles. We're loaded for bear, included our RTR Spec 3 2013 Mustang, which we built for the 2012 SEMA show and was featured in Ford's booth.

We'll be auctioning it off at Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale early next year for charity.

Since rental cars are no fun, I'll be driving it back and forth to the hotel every day. With about 650 hp, it'll be a better ride than a rental Focus. We've used it in the Optima Ultimate Street Car invitational and the recent American Street Car Series Run to the Coast, where we placed 3rd.

It's a car - you're supposed to drive it.
