Ok we are getting closer! Everyone is working hard this week on last minute preparations, can't wait to see you all this weekend!
 
Too bad this weeks weather in Florida is going to prevent me from having a clean car. Maybe I will donate it for people to practice on...

With working all day Friday and it supposed to rain, a dirty car to a detail fest it is.
 
I wonder how many times I can sing "99 bottles of Patron on the wall" over a 900 mile drive?

ARG! I was almost surprised and this was going to be my spring break trip with my parents (some say I have a twisted mind of a spring break), but it turns out I'd have to miss school to make the drive since spring break is the following week. Maybe next year, we'll see.

Everyone watch for this thread, as all of the up to date Detail Fest information will be posted here! We are working on all the details and will be adding to this post so everyone will know about the events and all the special announcements.

Autogeek's 5th Annual Detail Fest is coming up on March 27th and 28th, 2010 in Stuart, Florida. This year it will be our first official two day event!

Hi, WISH I could have made it this year :( I know this is a little early, but I was just curious about next year's event - because just yesterday I was beginning to plan a vacation to Florida and was actually planning on coming in March or April, since that is the off-peak season and some good deals can be found. Anyway, I'm sure the event will be at the same location since that's the head quarters, but will it also be around the end of March or beginning of April perhaps, and how far (driving) is it from Ft. Meyers/Venice area? THANKS! :)

It is usually around the end of March. From Ft Myers / Venice, we are 3 hours away.

Thank you so much! 3 hours isn't too bad... especially for what its for!

I know this is way off topic and no one can predict the future... but regarding the Ft. Meyer's or Venice area on the Gulf, has any oil made its way there or is it expected to? Looks like I will have to start planning our vacation during that time frame, which is sort of a bummer because that is some prime 'peak season' for travelers, so flights and hotels will be more expensive.

As soon as a date is chosen for sure, please let me/us know :)
 
Is it $20 or $25 to go? On the first page of this thread it says $20 and the registration page says $25....
