Mike putting the finishing touches on the last fender for the day. We are off to go eat dinner and get rested for another day tomorrow. Be sure to tune in tomorrow at 9 am central time when we go live once again.

Does any of the crew know about the rest of the car, like does it have a red interior, BBK, 9" Ford and most importantly, which wheels and what size? Also, is this car going to be a "real" DD during the 3 seasons in the midwest?

Even when audio dropped today still awesome to watch live.

Thanks we are doing our best and sometimes things just happen. Thanks for tuning in, doing it all over again tomorrow starting at 9:00 plus the father will be in the house to see what the car is turning into.

I'm looking forward to it, can't wait to see the expression on the fathers face.

Long day... but lots of fun and very rewarding...

I'd like to take a moment to recognize and say thank you to all the guys helping with this project

Paul aka Sailfish and Ben aka Wors - You guys are machines. You rock! You give it your all and never slow down and the quality of your work is top notch.

Ben VanEperen aka Ben #1 the painter. What can I say Ben, not only are do you work incredibly hard but you are very talented, not only as a painter but as a sander and polisher. I've met a lot of guys in my life that very good at this craft and rate right up there with the best.

Wes Collins - Wes you've been the best host ever catering to and taking care of everyone involved to make sure we have everything we need to get the job done and most of for making everyone feel like their at home.

Yancy - Ah what can I say, Yancy is the Man of Many Talents and under the circumstances he's doing exactly what he always does and that's stellar work. Thanks for powering through your cold and making us all look good.

To all our Sponsors... you folks rock too... the paint job is coming out just as we all hoped for... true show car quality and that's due to the high caliber products we're blessed to be using. Thanks for getting on board with us and supporting this projects.

Team Autogeek - We're all spokes in the wheel and while Yancy and I are out here having fun the rest of the team is back at home supporting us and keeping the Autogeek machine running smooth.

We have a lot more hand sanding, machine sanding and rotary buffer compounding work to do tomorrow. Were on target time-wise but we need to keep the pedal to the metal to finish this project on schedule. So 4:30am comes early so it's lights out to recharge the batteries for tomorrow.

Man this is fun...

Thanks Wes and thanks Max...

Wes has a pretty good heating system in the shop so the cold is no problem, that plus we stay pretty busy from the moment we get there to the time we shut down.

We're getting some breakfast right now and then head to the shop at 8:00am and start back in.

When we left last night we had the majority of all the components removed from the car hand sanded, machine sanded and compounded with the Menzerna FG 400 and then de-taped.

Today we'll knock out all the sanding on the body shell first thing and we expect to have every square inch of paint polished to perfection by 5:00pm

All the guys here are really liking the Menzerna FG 400 with these LC Wool Pads on the Flex Polishers.

I've printed out Yancy's Reflection Test and I'm going to do a orange peel removal side-by-side section on the body shell today.

Stay tuned...

Plus seeing his face when he sees the car will be priceless. Also today I am going to be getting more footage for the story video that I am creating. Busy, busy, busy day today.

Ok we are at the shop setting up and going over the game plan for today. We go live for the first time today @ 9 am central time. BE sure to tune in.
