There is a meeting at out shop tonight around 6pm with the Dad and other younger brother. I will try to take some pics so you guys know what we are working with.....

I don't normally work on Sunday but I have a buddy that needs his 1957 Chevy buffed out for the Turkey Rod Run here in Daytona, Florida so I'm going to knock that out tomorrow. Should be done by 4-5 and I'll buzz you after that...

Thanks Mike, I am heading to the meeting right now....

Sunday work is normally a NO NO here as well. But with business so busy, I have to take the time to balance everything going on here and that means we have to do the things other people are not willing to do, and that means we are blessed to have this much work but it still has to get done.....

here is a picture of the meeting place last nice. As you can see, lots of people involved from our two CNC guys, the tuner for the LS engine, me and the father and brother standing in the shop......

Things are moving in the right direction as we were at the body shop, and things are very good there. The car should be back to our shop in about 10 days.....

We have plenty of light, and room to accommodate all you would need to get this done. I think even more about all the people you can effect and reach by extending your hands to help. I honestly do not have a back up plan at the moment. We even thought about selling just a few seats to help pay for the work and stay for you coming. Worse thing is I sell my 1987 Grand National to make this happen. The older guy and brother in the picture are worth that much to me....

NOW FOR THE CAR.........

any of you who know cars very , and I mean very well can see the dash on floor in front of us. PLEASE, if you think you know what it is, DO NOT RESPOND on the board, but send me a PM. IF you guess it correctly and this works, I will save a seat for you to watch this all go down in our shop here.....I think we can have about 15 people max come in and watch and still have tons of room for Mike and his crew to work.

If you like Mike, just bring a small camera and we can make a you tube clip for all of us who want to know what to do with a car fresh from the body shop to make it a detailing dream......SHINY BLACK!!!!!!

I am going to call Mike right now and touch base......

Mike and I have been working the wrinkles and so far, it is looking good. Do not want to make any promises until we know for sure......

This is pretty intense thread, I can really sense the emotion Proheader. Very commendable commitment to your extended family. I can only imagine the excitment the Dad has right now. Coming from a family of car guys, the reveal is really going to be something. Won't be a dry eye you can bet. Everything happens for a reason, and I am sure it will all work out.
 
Mike now is aware of what he is working on when he comes out. Needless to say he is totally surprised and excited by just the car alone......on top of that to be the first guy on it out of the paint booth is WAY COOL!!!!!!! Shiny black.......

Keep in mind we may have some spots available for a few guys from here on he forum.....

Have a Great Thanksgiving........I am actually going to work in the morning because......hopefully...."Guess who's coming to dinner".............

All I'm going to say is this car is cool!

I've buffed out a few in my life and love these cars! Actually I went to high school with a guy that drove one of these and even bone stock it was fast...

I subscribed but have a feeling its some 1st gen Camaro, hope not but either way, great offer and story, can't wait to see what the car actually is!
