Ok gang, it's a little early, but what the hell...

WHAT: an awesome detail weekend to share ideas, tips, tricks, techniques, products, equipment, etc with your best buds from AutoGeek.

WHERE: DetailKitty's house.

WHEN: September 6th and 7th

Details...
Let's do what we did at Tuscarora Dave's. Get our hands on a car, or preferably 2, and work our magic. I have 2 bays in the garage where we can easily work on 2 cars at once.
My husband has volunteered his car as guinea pig #1. It's a 2008 Polar White Saturn Sky Redline. I'd like to have another car if anyone wants to volunteer theirs. Maybe something dark and challenging :coolgleam:

This will be an all weekend event. We can start at 9am Saturday morning and end when we feel like it... Same with Sunday.

Lunch and dinner will be provided... my husband has volunteered to man the grille for us both days for dinner. I will be getting hoagies for lunch.

BYO if you wish, but please wait until we are done touching any vehicles before getting your swagger on.

I'm going to start a sign up list here for everyone to use. This will allow me to know how much food to buy for the weekend.

Also, I know some of you are traveling from out of town. I can fit up to 5 overnight guests at the house. So if you need a place to stay over Saturday and want to stay at Casa de Kitty, please include that in your RSVP here. First 5 that request a spot will get it. Otherwise, I am listing some local hotels in the area for anyone who needs a room.

forgot to add that i can bring any products that i have been sent for product testing. I also use Menzerna, Wolfgang and GTechniq products if anybody is interested in trying any of these out before buying them

I used to live in West Chester. I might have to make a return trip !!!!!

Just throwing this out as an idea, maybe we could have one interior and exterior project going simultaneously?? Therefore the members attending could pick up tips and tricks from others to hopefully better their finished product and cut time off their process.

At least for me, the interior always seems to be the main struggle for efficiency. Any input is welcome. If finding a test vehicle is the issue I would have a few leads that could possibly work out.

Also if there are any products members woukd like to try before pulling the trigger on a large quantity post it along with your name. Maybe someone attending would have a sample that they would be willing to bring along.

Of all the weekends my brother picks to get married/ I've got a house full of relatives to host! I gotta find time to sneak away and come by to say Hi. Detail Kitty's place is only about 20 minutes from my casa.

I have no issue with doing interior detailing then... mage I have some tips for you. People always say they could eat off my floor mats :xyxthumbs:

@angus- no worries... try and come out!

Also, looks like my sister is gonna let us have at her very swirled up 2012 Kona Blue Mustang :dblthumb2:
I've been dying to get my hands on it.
 
Ill check the calendar. Id like to come and watch to get tips. I'll bring some beer
 
I would love to get out there for this. Hopefully I can work something out and get time off to go.
