I think you're right. It for sure isn't a vette. It has similar lines to a C6, but the hatch is wrong. Of course the video isn't the best.
 
Definitely an NSX. Especially since the smoke comes out from under the rear hatch.

It's kinda funny but I'd be curious as to what exactly happened to the engine?...well many things could go wrong...thanks for sharing Mike.
 
That's cool, not sure if I would really want it in my vehicles but looks cool :D

Definitely sounds like something seized. it was just a BANG and then the engine sound stopped.
 
NSX....... titanium rods and aluminum block.....$$$$$$
