Oil stains embedded on jeep plastic window

Why idea as how to get oil stain that somehow got onto the plastic window in his jeep wrangler? I've washed and clayed it no success..
 
Claying plastic windows is a no-no in my book. And, you may wind up with more problems than you started out with if you keep going willy nilly at it.

Plastic windows like the ones that come on a Jeep are not very porous, that means any staining will likely be topical, that means "just on the surface".

Like Vegas Transplant posted, not using products safe for plastic can lead to more problems than you started with.


Flexible plastic windows are soft and mailable, this means they will scratch easy and don't normally like to be abraded.

Can you take a picture of the damage and post it to this thread?

Sure will, ill have him snap some for me, he just replaced the window to with a new one and this happened
