Ok, confession time...

Here is something consider... if you had to pick, which will it be?
detailing supplies or your car

A car with no detailing supplies is a car I couldn't be proud of owning. I didn't think like that before I found AG!

LOL, yeah all of you car detailers need to get out and socialize instead. Detailing cars might be a passion and some of you as your livelihood but getting obsessed about your chemicals is like a janitor obsessing about his broom.

I must confess. I'm addicted to microfiber towels. Especially the plush ones. And smell them when they are new....

Ok that's a little weird, but I guess it's no weirder than my wax smelling addiction. Lately it's been Bouncers CTR and Vanilla Ice. I've even been making my wife smell them which she just rolls her eyes at. Now if I can only find a way to put a little behind her ears.........

I have a spray wax thats banana, a dressing thats coconut, a one step thats cream soda, and so on....
after 8 hours a day around it I smell like a pack of fruit snacks!

You guys need help lol

I confess... sometimes I'll stare at a finished correction job (usually with a cold beer in hand) and get that Tony Stewart "Armor All Go Ahead Stare" Syndrome

Sometimes I walk out to the garage and open my detailing cabinet to look at the detail supplies and take in the smells

I find myself doing the same thing...Though it is a rather odd thing to do...my girlfriend thinks I'm a bit "off" when I mention how great this new wax I got smells.

After being away from 'detailing' for about 20 years or so, I walked into an auto paint store and IMMEDIATELY smelled Meguiar's M-4 and M-7 and was right back in to it. Kinda like smelling 'the perfume' from your first love...LOL

Yes! I still have some products I bought when I first got into detailing, while I was with my first love.

Turtle Wax Vision, Zymol Cleaner Wax, Meguiars #7, #9, and #26, Meguiars Deep Crystal line, Blue Coral Ultra Fine Auto Polish, and Blue Coral Auto Fom. All remind me of those days... 1996/1997

I still have these products sitting in the basement. Once in a while, I'll take a trip back in time. :-)

It's the same thing with drum gear.
