Ok I admit it I get bored with just applying PS to the car once a week and I have other products on there as well. I was thinking of doing the following:

Optimum Poliseal to clean and remove all thats on there now, plus a little correction wont hurt!
Megs #7 (Never used but heard is amazing)
Seal her up with Pin Souv.

So what cha think about that combo gang?

Thanks!

Hook 'em Horns!!!

Is it single stage or a clearcoat finish?

I just want to know what the purpose of the #7 is...

Clear coat, purpose is just to add a really wet glaze to get more wetness.

theres better glazes out there for the purpose you are looking for instead of #7

i have heard #7 referenced as "queen for a day" because first rain and it basically washes off(of course that's if you don't use something over top of it)...i got 12oz of #7 for free from my old job but recently bought the #3 as it does have a little bit of cutting action...

#7 is AMAZING on single stage paint, because of how the paint absorbs a good bit of the oils. It's the only true glaze I've used, but as Oscar stated, their are probably better products for your intended purpose. Maybe the Poorboys glazes?

Megs #7 is available locally, however.

Meg's # 7 is a pure polish...Hence, for "Show Cars", regardless of any labeling language. Just like: Are some of Zaino's polishes really polishes, or sealants...or just labeled the "Zaino" way?

Meg's # 7....It is not a glaze!

BTW OP...Your combo sounds like a winner.

I love your avatar Longhorn.

I like what you have planed. Let us know your thoughts once you try it out

I agree that #7 isn't as good as people (myself included) remember it. I just tried it last week after several recommendations on here and, it was fine, but I'm sure there are better things, particularly for modern clear coats as already stated.

i agree with ted S i have a 94 celica ST in super white II paint which is single stage and the #7 really added some shine and gloss compared to just the ultimate polish applied with a black polishing pad on my rotary, however i havent tested the #3 machine glaze yet to see how it compares to the #7..good luck man

Most of Zainos products have polish in them? I beieve that there is polish in AIO and one other product, the name which escapes me and is sold as a light cut polish, Pro2 and 5 have not polish or cut.

I said some.:)

That's my point........ is Z-AIO a 'foundation' that is built upon by using the "protection and sealant system" provided by Z2 Pro polish and Z5 polish. Once again, are some of Zaino products polishes or sealants?

The way products are labeled (perhaps mislabeled?) was what I was talking about.:)

Cheers.
