I was wondering if it was okay to pile up MF towels after usage until there is a big enough load?

Do the chemicals/dirt become harder to remove if you dont clean the towel ASAP?

Well since I only have like 6 MF towels, I just wash them right after I use them, including my Guzzler (don't wanna take any chances). If you have so much MFs that it doesn't matter if you wait, then maybe you can wait till they pile up, that's what I'd do.

LOL Do you see all my MFs?

Wow you can pile em up, I'm sure you won't have a problem not having enough :)

i leave mine laying in a bucket until i have enough for a wash

if theyre heavily soiled i rinse the worst off under a hose and soak em in the bucket with a little apc or wash soap

I had the same question, but did notice a couple of things. If I leave them sitting, some tend to get stained. I also left some in a bucket of dawn overnight and they came out very clean! So maybe if left in dawn overnight, then wrung out, piled up, and accumulate a full wash load, it might be ok. Of course, don't pile too much and risk mold.

Anyone else have other methods of collecting/washing MFs?

I let mine sit until I have 8 laying around. That's when I throw them in the washer and do a small load.

I try not to let them sit to long. Although I've till yet to have a problem. Normally I MFs get washed as my wife is washing our cloths. So sometimes it might be a day before they get washed. A couple of days ago I thought I would give "MF Restorer" a shot to revive them. The results were good, they had a nice soft feel restored (even when wet).

I actually keep the seperated in a bucket until wife does laundry. Just dont expose to other laundry and regular towels.

I do the same as some of you guys, I have two or three buckets with water and MF detergent (Pinnacle Type). For towels that I use to remove wax I place those on one bucket, then for MF towels used to remove polish goes on another buck and for Guzzler goes on a separate bucket. I find this to be better then putting them all together in one bucket. Keeps the wax/polish and other stuff from mixing with my other towels. I used to just but everything together but I noticed I started feeling a little wax residue on my Guzzler.

I let mine pile up all the time and haven't noticed any problems to speak of. Just wash them with Woolite Original and they come out just fine.
