OK to Use Blackfire One Step on Chromed Plastic Trim ?

So, I am behind on my winter prep thanks to a nasty bout with shingles.

Today when I washed the CR-V to prep for sealing it, I noticed lots of oxidation (or staining or ... ?) on a good deal of the chromed plastic trim. Tried an APC to no avail. I don't have a dedicated cleaner wax product, but I do have BF One Step. Would this work OK without damaging the trim or is there a better alternative ?

Should work great. Just don’t be too aggressive and try an inconspicuous area first.

Perform a small Test spot first. Shingles does knock you down, been there. Get well

I don't have a dedicated cleaner wax product, but I do have BF One Step.

BLACKFIRE One Step is a dedicated cleaner/wax except that it uses a “sealant” for the protection aspect instead of a “wax”.

Same idea though.

I use it on all chrome. Soft foam pad for chrome on plastic and foam cutting pads on chrome on steel bumpers.

Great abrasive technology wont scratch these types of materials.

I also use BF One Step to buff swirls out of clear bras.

Thanks for the replies everybody. After reading your suggestions I did a test spot earlier today and it worked out well. Taking a lunch break right now and then it's back to work. :buffing:
