I have a really old bottle of "Meguiars Gold Class Clear Coat Liquid Car Wax". I was wondering two things. First, would it still be good if it was left in a non temp controlled environment for probably around 10 years (It was in my garage). It seem to shake up OK (slightly watery though). Second, is it synthetic or carnauba? I know the newest version sold on Autogeek is carnauba but my version does not say anything about it on the bottle. It does say, "Long lasting polymer protection"?

Here is a pic:

Thanks for any help,

That stuff is terrible. It stains trim and it doesn't last. I am desperately trying to use mine up on window cladding and patio furniture.

Well I guess that sums it up...wait, you wax your patio furniture? :)

But how come on the bottle it tells me it is one of the finest waxes Meguiars has ever made? I can't believe they would lie to me!!!

All joking aside, thanks for the info. I will use it on my winter shovels and also on the metal parts of my back door. Thanks Setec!

twice a year I take old house hold chemicals like this to the toxic recycling center. That's where it belongs.
