Old Member, 1st Post in a minute. 2013 Maserati GranTurismo Sport detail

Hey all. It's been a very long time since I've posted on a forum. Mainly because I don't understand technology to save my life. Any who, barring any problems w/ Photobucket where I host pictures thru, Here is a 2013 Maserati. 1 year old; 5,500 miles; mostly garage kept; rarely washed; waxed once; never clayed. No swirls (fortunately) but several long scratches running down the front and hood.





The car was then washed and clayed. I treated the scratches to 2 passes of Meguiars 105 Ultra-cut w/ Orange Light-cut pad via flex 3401. I then did the whole car w/ Poorboys World Polish w/ Sealant applied via 3401 and Surbuf pads (meh to Surbuf pads, why must they shed?). The next morning I came back and applied a layer of Wolfgang Fuzion to the car and a layer of Meguiars NXT Tech wax 2.0 to the rims. Interior was cleaned using simple Woolite detergent cut 6:1 w/ distilled water then protected w/ Aerospace 303. Tires = Poorboys Bold n Bright.

Welcome to autogeek, great work I like that you kept it simple, and yeah these forum things take time to get use/learn but once your find your comfort zone in these world's everything will become simple, and easy....keep up the good work

Yes. I only had 1 light cut pad with me that day as I didn't think I would need to do any significant paint correction. Had I had a yellow pad or even the purple it would have been 1 pass. Good quality paint on this beast

Already looking forward to your contributions. Be careful with Photobucket... most the time when I read a forum and I see red x's or a picture that looks like the below it's because the person that hosted the picture on Photobucket deleted old pictures to make room for new pictures and thus leaves a trail of missing pictures all over the Internet.
