So I remember reading here about Bleache-White not being so good, then there was an old and new formula and it was now owned by Black Magic. Now noone here cares about Black Magic, its a product line for those starting out and/or not knowing better.....IMO anyways. Since reading this I've done a couple customers tires with this using an old ECO TOUCH spray bottle, the one with the nipple on the end that makes it foam up and this is where I think its key, to a point, the foaming action.
So, can't remember the thread and it really doesn't matter but "Oldie but a GOODIE" applies here without a doubt:
From today, my buddy's wife's Scion xB, she just ran it through a car wash yesterday.
Looks clean right???
....wrong! This was after 2 complete passes, turned brown right away, getting to work to bring up all the brown gunk that you can't see!
This was after scrubbing with the provided tire brush in the DP tire coating kit, really great brush for them to provide.
Now I was going to coat the tires with TW tire coating but I left the tires to dry completely in sun and moved onto another car before I got around to detailing my buddy Hectour's 79' RX-7. When I turned around she ended up going to the store and then went out with her sister-in-law, oh well, I'll get them coated next week because I'm going to try and do a much overdue paint correction and LSP.
I've been using Bleache-White for years, even though tires are all blackwalls today, you still need to clean uncared for tires and although owned by Black Magic, it appears that "The Song Remains the Same".
