Well I bought them a while back and guess I havent used it yet. Today I decided to give my Saturn Ion a bath, as we all know our cars usually have to go on the back burner when there are customers cars lined up for weeks. I finally got a break in the action and got to it.

This is Meguiars D143 mixed 1:1 with an OPUS foaming sprayer. I sprayed it on the wheels and went to get my camera after seeing what it did so this has already been dwelling for over 25 seconds. I dont know if it foams ALL products this well but the Non-Acid wheel and tire cleaner OMG!!!

The pattern looks uneven or is this because it started running after 25 seconds

The foam was more of a stream than a wide angle spray so you have to spray a lot (but it doesnt use a ton of product comparatively) Ill admit I didnt like that fact BUT it works awesome. I love the D143 also even before I used the foamer.

I can officially say it doesnt work as well with Brown Royal wheel cleaner. Lucky for me I like the Meguiars better anyway. Ill be trying it on some 3D orange degreaser soon too. Will try to remember to update this thread.

What does OPUS stand for, haven't seen this one around before, link?

The quick Google search I did it appears that it's just a foaming trigger sprayer, I'm sure OP can confirm one way or the other.

That's what I came up with but I thought it was wrong, LOL. I've been using the IK 1.5 for quite some time for my foaming needs, I have blinders I guess

It's hard to beat the IK 1.5 for foaming, but the pumping kills me. I know get the bigger IK.

Agreed but spending 3 times the money is hard to justify but once the IK Foam 9 is primed you can easily do all 4 tires/wheels but then again having 1.3 gallons of tire/wheel cleaner can be "a bit much", LOL. I'm ok with pumping up the IK 1.5 for each wheel, plus it's easy to handle too.

I use my IK Foam 9 for pre-wash only or if the car is just dusty that pre-wash is the actual wash, just foam, dwell, rinsed, dry...DONE

How many times do you have to re pump the foam 9 to go over your entire car?

I'd say about 3 times but that because in most cases I double foam the car and use the entire 1.3 gallons of solution. I get the tires and wheels foamed up too, doesn't matter that I've done them already, plus the wheelwells. Over doing it...yep, it's the only way I know how to do it Once the solution goes down you have more area inside so you have to pump more.

That's awesome, and a savings at that!

I can't believe you still have my quote as your signature, LOL. THAT'S GREAT!!!

Hey all, OPUS is just the name brand. Griots uses their sprayers and I really like them all. The foamer works really well. I dont know how many other companies make a foaming sprayer for your own bottles. They are like $1 or less at bottle supply places compared to the $30 for the IK sprayer.

I still giggle like a school girl reading it!!! ha ha ha. I like the "hangs out" part.
