A few months back, I had the opportunity to take over ownership of the Detail City forum. When this opportunity arose, I decided to leave to devote more time at Detail City as well as pursue employment in a different industry.

Autogeek is such a great career for me and Max and the entire staff are great friends of mine, leaving wasn't the right thing to do. Of course we stayed in contact after I left as Autogeek is a sponsor at Detail City and as Detail Fest 5 was approaching, I was able to come back and volunteer for the entire weekend. It was a great time, it was good catching up with everyone and I realized that Autogeek is the place for me to be. Max and I sat down to chat and before you know it, I'm packing my bags and heading back to Autogeek. I realized that there was no reason that I could not do both. Max is flexible and has offered his full support so that I can contribute here at Autogeek and also run Detail City as well.

I just want to thank everyone here at Autogeek and say that it's good to be home and exciting to see all of the cool things that Max has in store for this year!
 
Welcome back Dwayne, I know it was hard leaving Autogeek and we missed you. But we are very glad to have you back at the Geek! For anyone that knows us around here we are not all employees of Max but we are all family here. We hate to see someone go, so it is really nice to have Dwayne back in the saddle again. He lends a great hand with the forums, technical support and customer service and we missed the him. Happy to have you back home where you belong!
 
You guys are so lucky to be working for a place, an owner, that you really love. I know the feeling, I also love my job. I'm glad that there are other people doing things in life that makes them happy, glad to have you back and hope you continue to pursue what makes you happy.

That's so true. Working at AG does have some pretty awesome and unique perks like access to the Show Car Garage, being able to use thousands of awesome products that people dream about and of course Harleyguy's and Mrs. Harleyguy's famous cookies!
