One Brand for Everything, what would you choose?

3D/HD -- reasonable price, great performance.

I mostly use Blackfire for everything. However I started picking up more and more Wolfgang products and I'm really enjoying them as well.

It used to be Meguiars for me, but that's changed as of late, but AG doesn't sell my new stuff, so unfortunately I can't share that :( Meguiars is a great brand with very extensive options though!

I also like the 3d h products great value hows things out there ,here in toront its 1 right now, just finished doing a rinseless wash .....have fun keep detailing......check us out on facebook.......AUTO ONE DETAILING

Wow, thanks for all the responses. For the record, I'm just a DIYer, not in it as a business. That being said, sounds like Megs is winning out. I'll have to check into this 3d/hd, never used it.

This is a great question to ponder. Before I discovered Autogeek, all I really knew was 3M and Meguiars. I started detailing for money in 1990 with a Cyclo and Meguiar's #6, #2, #9 and #26 Did that for many, many years. Now I use 3D HD, Pinnacle, Wolfgang and others.

I used to be one of the Meguiars die hard guys but in the last year or so ive switched over to Wolfgang and id have to say its a night and day difference. I love Wolfgang and wish I would've known about them sooner. Id trade any Meguiars product I have for the equivalent in Wolfgang hands down.

The price difference isn't small though so it's not really a fair comparison. Meg's stuff performs 90%+ as well for usually half the price, or less. A gallon of Wolfgang Perfekt Glass Cleaner's $50. Meg's D120's $17 and makes 11 gallons. That's 33 gallons of glass cleaner that's 95% as good for the same price. 33 gallon's of Wolfgang's glass cleaner would cost me $1,650. I recently started using Polish Angel products, and they're infinitely better than anything else I've used. But at the price, they should be. The glass cleaner I got from them is a lot better than anything I've used, but it was $54 for 1 liter. I can make 33 gallons of D120 for less than $54. 33 gallons of the Polish Angel glass cleaner would be $7,128 IMHO equivalent should factor in price too. WG is a premium line with premium prices. They offer no Meg's equivalent products when you factor in cost.

Well, price was not an option. So, if I had to pick one, Wolfgang it is. 3D HD would be second.

Well if price is an option or not it's Meguiars. Solid products, great customer service and the utmost confidence the products will deliver. Between the Detail and Mirror Glaze line you have everything one needs.

I didnt know Menz makes things like Glass cleaner, APC...why are so many people voting for Menz? Am I missing something?

Secondly OP: I voted Meguiar's but I must say that the more HD/3D products I try the more I like them too. I would still go with Meg's cause I am very happy with 90% of the things they make that I have tried.

Problem is, I've never cared for any Meguiar's LSP except for the no.16 wax. I use lots of other products from them though.

I think Optimum or Carpro would be my choice.
