While I went on my lunch break today another mobile detailer went to my job. Not the same one from earlier in the week but a different one. One of my co workers with a 2006 Chevy 1500 forrest green color decided give the guy a try. So I'm getting off my car and I see them washing the truck. One guy is rinsing the car down with a pressure washer and the other was washing the truck with one bucket I payed close attention and I couldn't believe my eyes he was washing the truck with a white tshirt to top it off it was super dirty you could see grease on it like if he used it to clean the wheels....I go inside to tell my coworker his in a meeting....30mins after my coworker was out the meeting I told him about the situation we went outside to see the work. He was waxing the truck.? He was using this weird aerosol can I had never seen. The paint looked like he had sprayed armor all it was all greasy. It was honestly a horrible job..my co worker didn't say anything he paid them and they left. He was dissapointed with the work. After work we decided to wash the truck in the parking lot went to the local petboys bought some megs gold class soap and I topped it with the V7 I carry in my car....just thought I would share with. Can't believe people do business this way. This was the can he was using. http://www.ebay.com/itm/FW1-FASTWAX...Parts_Accessories&hash=item231cfb14bf&vxp=mtr

I dunno, I like the can. Amazing how they make those all out of one piece now.

Someone tried to sell me that stuff in a costco parking lot, I told him I got it under control and for him to walk away from my mothers car. If it was my car, I would have gotten ape #### lol. I would stay away from using that.

Nothing wrong with that product if used as it should be used.

Honda has similar product for bikes, so I used this one and Honda stuff on my bikes. It worked pretty well, both in cleaning and quick waxing departments.

I suggest you try it before judging it.

I'm not juding the product at all because I have not used it. Any product can be misused in the wrong hands but by the looks of the greasy residue on the paint I don't think he used it correct. I was more shock him using a tshirt as a wash mitt.

The bitterness of a poor quality detail remains long after the sweetness of low price...

Caveat Emptor.

A buddy of mine gave me a can of that. It works great on my stainless steel appliances but don't think I would put in on a car.

Reminds me of the stuff you see peddled at gas stations.

They are. I just went to the gas station and some guy was selling them 2 for $20.

Yeah. I had a guy at the gas station attempt to spray that on my detail rig. He said "Wow, you got a nice looking ride there!" At which time I asked him "You know what elastrofoam is?" He said no. So I pointed to the 3inch letters on my back window that said "Mobile Auto Detailing". He walked away. The cashier had a good laugh.

Funny thing, when you click onto the link, scroll down and look at what other products are associated with this stuff.................TURTLE WAX ICE, need I say more:o
