With the help of this forum I will soon have 3 cars in god shape - one new car with Opti-Coat and 2 older cars (04, 07) looking nice with the Meg Micro Fiber correction system. I am looking for what to use for ongoing care, figuring doing something about every 6 months. The options I have been looking at are Klasse AIO & Sealant glaze,Meg 21 (or 20 or NXT) & Wolfgang DGLS. I could also use the 2nd phase of the microfiber system.

I am a bit confused about Klasse. Is the AIO intended to be used repeatedly? It says it is a polish but non abrasive, I thought anything that polished had to have some abrasion? So do people use the AIO every time or just the sealant glaze? For the car with Opti-coat, I want to make sure not to rub it off. Based on the descripotion it is also not that clear that the Klasse sealant glaze does much more than the AIO - but i'm sure there is more to it than that.

The reason I was looking at MEG 21 (instead of #20) is because I was not sure I wanted the polish every time. Or do I? Would 20 or 21 make sense over opti-coat? After Correction?

Feed back pleaseSo, what would you use for ongoing care after the initial correction, where the intent was 6 months between sealants? Thanks in advance!

I have the Klasse twins on my 07 Chevy(white) and am very happy with it. I only apply once a year (in the fall). Wash, full decon, polish, Kaio, ksg (3 coats). Car gets washed every other week (touchless in the winter) and sprayed with XMT 360 spray way. Water was still beading and rolling off when I went to reapply last fall. Can't beat it for durability. Gives a very hard candy coat shine which I like on light colored vehicles. When we applied it to a coworkers black truck we used 1coat of ksg topped with a nuba paste for a little depth.

Meg 21 was my "go to" sealant. I like it but . . . tried the Klasse twins this Spring. I like the wetter look of the Klasse. And, I'm expecting it (Klasse) to last longer (w 4 coats of sealant) than M21 . . . 4 months vs 1 year.

Only use AIO once (until you're polishing again). It strips off old sealants. So, if you re-apply it, you'll have to also re-apply all your sealants.

Meg 20 has abrtasives and Meg 21 doesn't. Therefore, I have not used Meg 20 because when I polish, I use separate polishes rather than a polish/sealant. (Yeah, I know that the Klasse AIO does a bit of both. But I depend on my separate polishing to correct swirls, etc)

I just picked up the klasse twins. Good info on how you used it. I will have to do the same thing.

My favorite combo for a DD that needs no serious correction is DG501, topped with a Collinite wax. DD's are gonna get dirty and it never ceases to amaze me how much crud 501 extracts from the paint, even after claying (thanks Richy!). I use three Collinite waxes, 845, 476 & 915 and concur with the mfr. ratings: 845 is easiest to use, 476 lasts the longest, 915's carnauba content gives it the edge in looks. I know from experience the past three PA winters that the 501/476 combo gives a solid 3-4 months of protection for a DD that sits outside 24/7, so getting you 6 months in the spring/summer/fall should be no problem.
