Anyone try ONR on a ceramic coated vehicle? I'm using Sonax in my foam canon for my normal washes but just was a little curious if anyone had any reviews/feedback from there experiment with ONR on ceramic coated vehicles. Thank you in advance

I basically only use ONR for maintenance washes. ONR is great to use period, regardless of whether or not its a ceramic coated vehicle or not.

Agree have used it on light rinse-less washes with great success for 3-4 months now on a gtechniq coated vehicler

Almost any soap will work over a ceramic coated car. However, if you want a soap that leaves nothing behind (polymers, waxes) try Car Pro's Reset.

IMO:
-Coatings are rather durable against
the majority of chemicals found in car
wash shampoo solutions.

-Whatever the amount of gloss enhancers,
carnauba wax, and/or UV inhibitors that
Optimum's ONRW&S/ONRW&W may contain...
they should not have any long-lasting effects
on any of ceramic Coatings' characteristics.

Thanks a lot guys! Definitely don't wanna leave any waxes or polymers on the coating since it's not compatible with coatings. I'll try reset after my Sonax runs out. Just got the latest reload so can't wait to test it out.

I've used ONR on my coated car without any issues

I love ONR, I used to use quality sealants on my car with onr washes with spray wax toppers and with weekly even monthly maintenance became a breeze, however after being coated with cquartz uk it actually became much easier to clean.

I have on mine, seems to be OK. I still wish to find out what ONR is exactly, but I haven't gone out of my way to. You should be aware that Sonax is a gloss enhancing shampoo, at least according to Sonax, so it is likely to be leaving behind product on your coating. So as long as you don't see the beading being affeacted, it's safe to say it's probably OK to use.

I use Reset ot Meg's Hyperwash on coatings at this time. About to experiment with CG Wonder Wash the next coated vehicle I wash, as this is free of polymers and waxes that stay behind. Or so they say.

Thank you sir, very good to know since sonax claims it doesn't hurt your wax, sealant, or coating doesn't mean it's leaving any other product behind. I will definitely try reset in my foam canon soon as my sonax is done since carpros reputation has been consistently good. Makes sense for me anyway since I have just got my reload sent. Thank for the info, have a great weekend
