ONR quesrions

Lots of different views here. What I do for my DD is make sure it is polished and adequately protected before I use the ONRW&S. To wash takes 20 minutes (a little longer in winter) and I use 2 bucket system with a sponge applicator (it's blue). Dip the sponge in bucket #1 ( the solution) and apply to large sections (ie. half roof, half front windshield, half hood and half the front bumper). I let it sit a bit while I rinse the sponge. Remove with waffle drying towel (folded 4ways). I use max 3 drying towels. Works for me.

I have never used rinse less washes before but I don't get how a light swipe is gonna get bugs and stuck on tar and things off the vehicle?? How do you go about removing tar and bugs??

The simple answer is a light swipe won't. Your technique, like with any wash, is going to be to remove the loose dirt, if there is remaining "stuck" stuff you are going to have to go back for another pass, a more aggressive pass, or use a bug and tar remover, solvent, clay, etc.

I mean if you use a conventional wash now, you don't rub really hard on the whole car, do you? You wash, and as you're washing if there is stuff that doesn't seem to be coming off, you rub it again, and if it still doesn't come off, you rub it harder, right?
