So I purchased a 32oz bottle on ONR with the last 20% VIP super deal. :xyxthumbs:
I have traditionally been using Megs UQD for both QD and Clay Lube. Many have convinced me to try this product out based on $ per oz and great results.

I also purchased several 32oz. spray bottles,, any help on the following questions is greatly appreciated.

What ratio should I use for QD?
What ratio should I use for Clay Lube?
Does anyone actually use the spray bottle mixtures of ONR to clean door jams, if so what ratio?

thanks all!

8 oz/gallon of water for QD.

2 oz/gallon of water for clay lube (that's the recommended but I like to use it more at 4 oz/gallon of water)

I do use the QD ratio to clean doorjambs.

8 oz/gallon of water for Quick Detailer.

2 oz/gallon of water for clay lube (that's the recommended but I like to use it more at 4 oz/gallon of water)

I do use the QD ratio to clean doorjambs.

I agree with these ratios. While the 2 ounces may be fine I'm more comfortable with a heavier concentration. This adds a bit more lube and the clay glides better...

I use it at double the recommended ratio for clay lube as well!

thank you for the quick replies!

So given I do not need gallons :xyxthumbs:

QD = 2oz to 30oz of water
Clay Lube = 1oz to 31oz of water.

What is weird to me is I would think there would be more ONR in CLay Lube than QD. Learn something new each day!

thanks again!

I don't use it as a QD, but do use it as clay lube. I've been using 1 oz. in a 32 oz spray bottle. Just found out that is to much. Checked and it only takes 1/2 oz for a 32 oz'er for lube. QD; clay lube; plus, you still have a rinseless wash whenever you need it. What a neat product,IMO.

I use the QD ratio to clay.

8oz per gallon. or 2 oz per 32 oz of water.
