What am I asking exactly is when pulling the microfiber out of the ONR dilution bucket, do you wring it out and then proceed to wash the panel or do you prefer to do it sopping wet?

Sopping wet. Part of the lubrication ability is dependent upon a fair amount of product.

That said, I'm a hobbyist and do not do this professionally so those that are spending lots of money may have a different opinion.

:iagree: with the above the above.

I Just put the towel between my hands and squeeze some water out, yet leaving the towel sopping.

I use a super plush mf somewhat wrung out, but I also pre-soak each panel with ONR in spray bottle.

I wring it just a real little bit, but it's still dripping copious amounts of ONR by the time I get my wash mitt to the car.

Like most things, wetter the better. Make sure its a nice easy gliding towel. I am a big fan of the Chinchillas but do not use them for onr. I found the cobras 16x16s work the best. I also throw a couple of rag in the mixture towards the end to clean wheels and bottom parts of the car.

I use both the cobra 16x16s and the chinchillas and pak shaks.

I use the bone sopping wet.........

I use a microfiber mitt, two of them, both drenched w/ a presoak spray on each panel before wash!

I seem to recall reading somewhere that Optimum recommends using a microfiber towel with ONR instead of a wash mitt or similar things. Anyone else come across this? And if so, do you know why?

I use microfiber mitts (usually 3 to 4 per car) and use while still dripping solution (do not try to remove too much). I will pre-spray the entire car before I was as well.

I let a little drip out of the mitt first, depending on how dirty the panel I'm washing is - you get an idea of how wet you need it after a couple of washes.
