As all of you know, OPC is an all purpose cleaner with quite the following on detailing sites and forums.

Part of the reason is because it is so effective and part of the reason is because it is safe on so many types of surfaces!

Well today, I have come up with a new use that may benefit you if you detail for a living.

One day you might encounter a customer with Plastidipped emblems or wheels and you may not be sure what to use. Worry no more!

OPC at a 1:4 dilution (ie 4 oz OPC to 16 oz H20) works great at tackling embedded dirt in plastidip.

I have not noticed any degradation or softening of the plastidip in any way.

In addition to leather, plastic, wheel, tire, bug, and paint cleaning, OPC is great at cleaning Plastidipped wheels.

Take a look and watch in HD:

Thanks for looking!

P.S. If you liked the video, please like or share the video. Doing so will make the video have more "priority" in the youtube search engine and thus come up more in search queries and I would appreciate it greatly!

Awesome! i absolutely hate chrome so my rig has a tonne of plastidip. only downside is trying to clean it. i didn't even think of trying OPC.

Try it out! As you saw from the video, the results are spectacular!

One thing I noticed is that OPC likes to dry on the plastidip. Shoot another spray and the dried OPC will come right off :dblthumb2:

Share your results in this thread when you try it! I'm curious to know your results with OPC on black plastidip :hungry:

Regular soap and water works. There is also a special Plasti Dip wash pad that works really well.

As I said in the video, that has not worked well for me. Nor has it worked well for others I know that have plastidip.
