I desperately needed to clean up the 4runner. It hadn't been cleaned in any way in months. This is the only car i neglect in my stable. Until today.

I cleaned the wheels with Griots Wheel Cleaner and APC on the tires and fender wells.
Followed with an ONR wash and clayed with Pinnacle Poly Clay.

I then hit the paint with my Flex with a Cyan HT pad with D151. this combination worked excellent on the paint and removed a good bit of defect while leaving a great finish. I was actually surprised how well it worked. I haven't been a huge fan of D151 up until now but i've continued to use it cause i have a gallon...:xyxthumbs:

Anyway...here are a few pics. Any questions feel free to ask.

cheers.

That is probably one of the cleanest 4Runner's I have seen ever... Everyone I see on the road either has a soccer mom who doesn't seem to know what a car wash is, or the high schooler who was fortunate enough to receive one but also has no idea how to wash them either.
But looks great!

Gotta agree, that 4Runner looks much better then what I see.

Good job.

Looks like operation clean up the DD was success! I wish I could get some warmer weather here to actually wash and wax my car.

Damn! So clean and shiny! My brother has a 06 Sequoia that is a little beat from being parked outside. His car has a slight green tint to it and i'm probably going to give it a good detail soon since he lets me park my 99 Acura TL inside the garage instead of his car.

How long did it take you to do this car? I have (be shipped) a GG6 instead of a flex so im sure its going to take a lot longer. Probably going to do m205, PO85RD if needed, and then a couple layers of nxt 2.0. Maybe i should just get d151 and a cyan pad too since

Thanks all.

Total time was a rushed 4.5 hours.

So, after seeing this thread, i lost some money to autogeek...again, even before i got my first order of gg6, m105, m205, menzerna po85rd, CG blacklight, and some other goodies. Just ordered the gallon of d151 with 2 cyan, and 1 tangerine plus some other goodies to get free shipping. Thank you OP for making me spend money. I guess im just trying to help "stimulate" the economy....just a tad.

Seeing it was used one 3 toyotas, it will be used on a sequoia, and probably a 08 crv. Did you top it off with any LSP although d151 is a AIO?

I didn't top it with anything as i didnt have time. Sometimes ill top it with collonite.

excellent! - I just got a gallon for a few friends and glad to see you use this product. I have had good results with a green flat pad and the cyan meg's pad. Nice spreading and buff off with a rotary....
