Opinions On Chemical Guys?

I just used the new ( all in one ) polish+shine+sealant on a friend's new Nissan juke and she was shocked with the results, I thought it work decent, easy wipe off and great shine, the sealant isn't that durable. Only about 3 month protection or so on. Also I have used vss and they work good. But as a professional I'm not going with chemical guys again except for jet seal or there matte products. Buddy has a torq 10fx no one cares about digital display for 1 and 2 a client called him back asking to come remove more scratching so I let him borrow my makita. 10fx is creating for waxing light imperfections that's about it.

Put me down as 'unsure'. I like their soaps, but stay away from their polishing material and pads/polishers. I stick to what I read here, but their MF wash is pretty good, as is their soaps (like I said above). I've used their metal polish too, which ain't bad.

I like their leather cleaner...but I have a feeling it's just their 'nonesense' degreaser which I have some too and it's pretty good stuff too. I like that it's clear. Their leather cream is not bad either. I like the smell it left.

I was pretty hardcore CG fan for awhile and noticed alot of their stuff is the same just different scents or relabeled. I cant say i still use anything from them except maybe citrus wash and clear to prep for Paint correction. but then i moved to carpro reset for that as well.

Like many others I started off using many chemical guys products. One if the first was jetseal. I was curious about it since they said it was jet grade sealant. At first I was impressed. I worked close to their uncle wood location. I picked more products. But then I started to get more into detailing. I found Autogeek and back then proper auto care and started reading more. I decided to pick up BFWD, and was completely blown away. Jetseal was okay, and that's it compared to BFWD. I started purchasing othe counterparts to chemical guys products I had amassed and realized many products were overhyped. There's very few products of theirs I used today. Probably cw&g and silk shine. My biggest problem wa that they have way too many similar products. I prefer things to be kept simple.

I didn't get to read all the post on this thread but here's my .02

Soaps: great
Pads: good
Scents: great, last decent amount of time
V polishes: okay, nothing to write home about.
V07: really good, up there with the best.
