Opti-Coat 2.0 not so permanent...

Have you tried claying a section and seeing what happens?

No. The jeep was just getting cleaned up to be traded in for a new car.
Since I had polished it before applying OC it didn't require anything other than a good wash and interior wipe down. And since it's gone already I'll have to try further testing on another vehicle that the OC appears to be disappearing on.

My OC dissappeared after 6 months. I'm going to be reapplying and going through all the polishing and prep again with a new syringe using Opti washes, polishes, and Power Clean. I'm also going to document everything here with pictures, etc...

How long do you think the OC lasted? Do you feel you may have applied it too thin (how many mls to do the Jeep?)?

If the syringe is exposed to high heat, say 100 degrees, could this ruin the product inside? I bought my syringe at AG in Fl and it was pretty hot out. Syringe traveled back to PA in my hot trunk. Just wondering, was your syringe exposed to any warm/hot temps? Was it stored in a hot garage or left in a hot car or similar?

Also, did you top your OC with any spray waxes or similar?
