So I'm hoping this is the proper place to write this but I want to give a short review/success story of OC 2.0.

Basically I've had this on my car since the spring and it was really put to the test when i was driving down a back road and some 5 yr old decides to throw an egg at my car.

Now normally this causes massive damage but I think the combination of a couple of factors helped.

1. He was 5ish so his strength isnt the best
2. OPTI-COAT 2.0!

Now it created the normal egg shaped pattern of what looks like chips, but none of the chips dug into the primer! I believe the egg hit the OC and put chips/dents in that. I was able to take a white pad on my PC and use a Blackfire Finishing Polish to knock down the area to where it is as smooth as the rest of the car.

However, the marks are still visible, but I didnt have my Megs 105 with me so I am unsure if this would have gotten rid of those. But the area is smoothed down and the marks are only noticeable from 6" in.

Maybe it was OC, maybe it wasnt, but there is no other damage from the egg enzymes or anything else!

I WHOLE HEARTEDLY RECOMMEND THIS.

Are you sure an egg can cause damage to the paint at all?

This is what happens normally, that circle pattern are paint chips.

Eggs are one of those materials which, when possible, should be immediately removed from the paint.
Firstly, the white has components that make it attractive for use in products such as adhesives. So, if allowed to dry, it will almost certainly induce some marring / swirls / etc. when being removed.
The yolk has other properties: it can be used in paints - so, it has the ability to spot. On the other hand, its sulforous components will destroy, with time, the clear coat.
