Opti coat vs Opti Glass

I would like to know why exactly opti coat is not recommended for glass and why I should spend another 60 bucks or so on opti glass? I have coated glass before with opti coat with no apparent problems.

If you use it and works go for it.

But I think under closer exam you'll see streaking on the glass perhaps.

Have at it Pat...The C6 I did today with opticoat, the glass came out great.
