Opti GPS: 2 Questions?

1. Is GPS more/less/the same cut as Optimum Finish a polish?

2. Is GPS better used with a polishing pad, finishing pad, or can it be used with either?

It has more cut than Finish and more than Poli-Seal, but not quite asynchronous as Polish II or Hyper polish.

You can use it with any pad even cutting pads. Just do a test spot to make sure the pad isn't going to leave marring.

As far as I know the rest of the Optimum polishes are SMAT so would assume GPS is the same

Gotcha. I'll be using it to finish off polishing my metal roof racks on my Pathfinder. These things we ready for the junkyard with 11 years of oxidation on their black single stage paint. I tried Menz polish by hand and it did nothing. Than I tried some Opti Compound and started to see results. The problem with the Menz polishes is they dry too fast

Now I plan on keeping them sealed with GPS.
