Opti Seal First Review

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread(interesting one too!)

I used Opti-seal on a few panels on my car and I noticed streaking!

If I use too little product, will the dry buffing with the sponge applicator cause micromarring?(I just glide the applicator over the paint of course! But with just one or 2 squirts, the applicator is too dry after doing half the panel and doesnt glide freely!)

Should I use a microfiber applicator?

And streaking appears as soon as OS flashes! is it safe to wipe off the streaking immediately?

sorry for a lot of questions at once!

If the pad does not glide easily use a couple more squirts. Usually there is no streaking but if there is wait a little bit for it to bond and dry then buff with a microfiber. It buffs out very quick.

Yes, I highly recommend use of a MF applicator with OS. It makes a huge difference in terms of streaking.

^Thanks! I read that a few ppl had great streakfree results with a mf applicator! + its really big(meguiars mf applicator) so holding it is easier as well!

Currently its raining out here! will try it out as soon as the rain stops!

this is one product i have been wanting to try forever! i am going to have to bite the bullit and order some. on the flip side i was told do do juice red mist tropical detailer is just about one step away from a spray on sealant. i do have the TMRD and it is impressive.
