Opticoat for newbee

Hi guys, newwbee here and I just placed my first order at autogeek. Below is what I ordered to get started by recommendation from auto geek support.

1 ###PIN-510K - Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay Special ##############29.99
I had added the opticoat but at check out it gave me a warning about being a permanent coating. I seen the video on this product and think it is perfect. Is this something I should try as my first time polishing???? I got cold feet and removed it.
Can't wait to get the rest and get started.

I am also a novice, but I used opticoat on my new car last year. The results were good, but you have to ask several questions.

What is your paint condition? Is this a daily driver? Do you enjoy waxing your car or are you looking for a permanent coating to help protect your vehicle?

I think opti-coat for a first time use is quite possible. That being said, you have to invest some time in reading what you can about the application as well as the application itself.

Below is a link to my application of opti-coat, basically the first non turtle wax wax/sealant I applied and I did it on a brand new car, quite nervous at the time about.
