HI just wondering if any one has had experience with the opti coat paint protection that is applied profesionally (not opticoat 2). i have a new 4x4 (SUV mitsubishi pajero ) that is coming and im looking at getting this done since it will be black. any thoughts would be appreciated.

Opti Guard is what you are talking about. Love it for customers who are looking for that type of product. I have no complaints with it and the customers that I have used it for love it.

Really, my experience has been that OG applies the same way as OC, just be quick and do a quick 'rasky' swipe with a MF to make sure you don't have any high spots.

Thanks that sounds promising DR Oldz. Are you in the business?
Legacy GT i intend to have it done by the only authorised detailer/dealer in our area (Adelaide ,South Australia)

are there any ongoing maintenance to minimise the swirlmarks such as finer polishes etc

ZAS automotive - Joel Blake will be able to answer all you questions and help you find a dealer. He is our Australia distributor.

thanks for all of your input. it gives me peace of mind. its great to find out about products from people who have experience with them before you hand over your hard earned. Its a mine field out there.:dblthumb2:
