Optimum Auto Spa was started in 2016 by an avid car enthusiast and detailing hobbyist. After working on countless vehicles for friends and family the word quickly spread, turning a hobby into a business venture.

Optimum Auto Spa is a premier mobile detailing company which is family owned and operated in New Jersey. We only use the highest quality products such as 1Z Einszett, 3M, Gyoen, Adams Polishes, Chemical Guys, Auto Finesse, Gtechniq, Griots, Leatherique, Lusso, Meguiars, Mothers, Nanolex, Pinnacle, Rupes, and Sonax to name a few. We strive to treat each and every vehicle as our own which is the reason we only use premiere detailing brands rather than bulk commercial offerings.

We started the business simply because local car wash facilities were not up to our standard of cleanliness. With years of experience under our belts we are confident that our work will make your vehicle look just as good as the day it rolled off the showroom floor.

We don't just clean a vehicle, we protect each and every surface to preserve the finish and texture from future damage.

MK6 Golf R in for a rejuvenation session. This highly modified R needed to be spruced up for show season. The exterior, interior, and engine bay were all freshened up. Clay barred, 1 step polish, sealed, and waxed!

Iron remover... you'd be surprised how much deposits even a new car has.

Once in a while we tend to experiment with a few products to see how they work together. We sealed the car using #Sonax Polymer Net Shield and topped it off with some #AutoFinesse Illusion Show Car Wax... the last step was a bit of #Ammo Spit Shine.

#ChemicalGuys Stripper scent... the smell of success!

Warning: May cause vivid flashbacks to better times and a sense of euphoria.

One of the most rewarding parts of being a professional detailer is meeting genuine car enthusiasts. This customer was a huge BMW fan, owning an e46 M3, Twin Turbo V8 X5, and a beautiful modded M4. We were lucky enough to work on the e46 and X5. The results speak for themselves!

This e46 has seen better days, luckily we brought her back to tip top shape...

First things first... decontaminate the paint. An iron remover will remove stubborn deposits which adhere to the clear coat.

Wheels were deep cleaned with an iron remover while an all purpose cleaner took care of the tires.

The interior was wiped down, vacuumed, and all leather and plastic components were cleaned and protected.
14715085_1789792494571130_8086827722978227793_o.jpg

We were pleased with the results... the final touch was a paint sealant which will last over a year.

With a premier East Coast show a day before, our friend Lukasz Radecki asked if we can show prep his B8 S4... challenge accepted.
Being that detailing a wrapped car is a bit different than one with a traditional paint and clear coat combo, we asked Larry Kosilla of AMMONYC how to properly treat a wrapped car. His answer "Treat it like paint minus the clay bar". Feel free to browse the photos to see what steps were taken to ensure this beautiful S4 was the cleanest vehicle at Importexpo dubexpo at Citi Field, Queens NYC!
Don't forget to contact us for all of your car detailing needs and questions!

First things first... thick suds and a proper wash. We used the #Chemicalguys foam wash gun to lay down some thick suds paired with their Extreme Grape Rush MAXI SUDS II.

#Adamspolishes All Purpose Cleaner followed by some #1 and #2 polish brought these back to their original luster.

Since the vehicle is a daily driver, we noticed a large amount of bugs on the front bumper. #Kenotek Anti Insect took care of the bugs without using a harsh detergent.

13392293_1738757386341308_2069709508369055207_o.jpg

One of the biggest challenges with detailing a wrapped car is actually "cleaning" the finish. With paint you can simply clay bar the entire vehicle to get rid of contaminants... not with a wrap.

We used #AutoFinesse Iron Out to safely remove all contaminants from the vinyl wrap. Notice how it turns purple when activated... similar to most iron removing wheel cleaners.

Supercharged?

#AutoFinesse Iron Out going to work.

These #AvantGarde M580 wheels were a bit dirty but nothing a quick #Adamspolishes treatment can't fix. The tires were cleaned with Adams All Purpose Cleaner, while the wheels were cleaned with Adams Wheel Cleaner.

This Q5 needed some love and care to bring it back to its glory days. We started off with a full iron removal using Auto Finesse Iron Out prior to clay barring the entire vehicle. We used Adams Paint Correction Polish followed by Auto Finesse Illusion Wax. The seats were treated with Leatherique which is hands down our favorite leather cleaner and conditioner. Wheels were cleaned with Sonax Wheel cleaner while we used Adams A.P.C. on the tires. Adams VRT and In & Out Spray helped bring all the plastic trim back to life...

Tons of stubborn brake dust coating these Audi Q5 wheels.
13323297_1737600623123651_2724411158981038063_o.jpg

Huge difference... now to properly clean them up.
13323770_1737600676456979_3906104462827884713_o.jpg

The brown leather seats on the Q5 surely set the interior off... a good cleaning and conditioning with Leatherique will make them softer than the day the vehicle rolled off the showroom floor.

13323187_1737600863123627_4492508849689829379_o.jpg

To properly polish and wax a vehicle the paint must be free of all contaminants... Adams Paint Correction Polish followed by Auto Finesse Illusion Wax. The results speak for themselves.

13346386_1737601019790278_1858546297508515496_o.jpg

Trunk area and mat were vacuumed and cleaned with Adams All Purpose Cleaner.
13305197_1737601136456933_5956781704515444353_o.jpg

The seats are now much softer and smoother after the Leatherique treatment. Interior was vacuumed and mats were cleaned. As an added bonus a little Chemical Guys Stripper Scent was sprayed to give it that... memorable smell.

One of our first projects... back when we were still using the Griots machine.

All cleaned up and ready to hit the road!

The wheels on this Touareg were in bad shape. Tons of caked on brake dust which needed to be cleaned up, polished, and sealed.
12771919_1705026419714405_1162391424748512105_o.jpg

The wheels were polished using Adams Paint Correcting Polish which made these look better than the day they rolled off the showroom floor.

Micro scratches and paint imperfections are difficult to capture using a camera however this tail light will give you an idea of the problems that were visible to the naked eye. The tail lights were also given a three stage treatment.
10258285_1705032226380491_6245124669439613184_o.jpg

After the tail lights were properly clay barred, compounded, polished, and sealed the lenses were a much deeper color showing no signs of imperfections.

Rubber trim can be an absolute nightmare if you're using the wrong products. Any products which are mostly water based will be gone after the first rain fall. The trim on this Touareg was never treated and dull.

We used Adams Super V.R.T. after properly cleaning them using Adams All Purpose Cleaner. The results were night and day. This dressing will stay on the car as it is specially formulted to repell water and offers SPF 35 protection.

The engine bay was also cleaned up using Adams All Purpose Cleaner and Adams In & Out Spray... not bad for an 11 year old SUV!

The owner of this beautiful jaspis green big turbo B5 A4 wanted the car properly cleaned after it sat while getting built. Since the car was outside it endured some cosmetic damage and a decent amount of buildup. We decided to do a wheel off detail which meant the wheels, brake calipers, and suspension were going to get a full refresh. The paint was cleaned up with a simple clay bar, polish, and wax. The owner was pleased with the results and one day turn around.

1999 A4 1.8T in for a complete overhaul.

Paint has visible flaws that need to be polished out. First step is to clar bar the entire vehicle including glass.
12768339_1702138503336530_5506513686582204713_o.jpg

Clay bar, polish, wax. Paint feels soft and repels water. The carnauba wax brought out the metallic paint when in direct sunlight.

Wheels have built up brake dust on the inner faces and barrels. A quick spray of Adams all purpose cleaner and a good wheel brush will clean these right up.

Inner faces and barrels have been properly cleaned and sealed with Carbon Collective Platinum Wheels. The sealant will repel brake dust and other deposits from adhering to the barrel.
12748024_1702140613336319_7412044763963575448_o.jpg

The metallic gold faces were dried and treated with a carnauba based wax. The wax brought out the deep gold finish and will protect the face from dirt.

These Porsche Cayenne 18z calipers were sprayed with Sonax Wheel Cleaner to soften the built up brake dust.
12771548_1702142810002766_5833649013148377457_o.jpg

Allowing the product to penetrate the dirt will make cleaning these massive 6 piston calipers much easier while keeping the powder coat from scratching.
12768337_1702143950002652_3944025604697476948_o.jpg

The ST Coilovers were also cleaned up while treating the threads with cleaner and lubricant.

Great job! A few of the cars you worked on I saw at local shows in the tristate area. On the last picture of the black Audi what did you use as a one step?

Thanks! I'm always running around to Cars & Coffee and a lot of the events in Englishtown. The B5, Golf R, and S4 are all friends of mine.

As far as the 1 step, I used a microfiber with some Megs... that paint was REALLY bad.
