Nice video Garry! You have a gift for good gab in front of the camera. I mean this in a good way as your voice and enthusiasm is entertaining.
One thing to be cognisant about is wiping of the surface when it may not be needed. I tend to let the product dwell/evaporate/flash off the surface for a minute of two before wiping. I feel much better when doing a panel without needing to do any wiping as it may remove some of the coating. The last medium sized boat I did barely needed any wiping. I also like rubbing the product into the surface too with a few overlapping passes. This can also smooth out the product and can eliminate the need for a towel all together in some applications.
Again, great job and keep us posted with the results.
Nice video AGAIN. How did you like the look after it cured? Wetter, glossier, plastic looking, Ect??
Nice job. The Lexus looks great. I've got a FJ Cruiser in black coming this weekend that I'm going to do with OG. (I just wish they'd kept the damned name the same!)
I would definately say that the car looked glossier. Thats really all I noticed.
The surface wasnt as slick as it is with a fresh coat of wax, but that was probably because the product wasnt cured completely when I felt it.
It looked like you really had it polished to perfection, so that's good to hear!!! Thanks!rops:
Nice video Garry!
I havent heard of any official name change. When I called Dr.G to order the product he referred to it as Opti coating every time.
The Opti Coat professional version is now called Opti Guard. I wish they would have called the new version OG instead. No biggie; just needless confusion.

Thanks for taking the time to do this video. The finality of this stuff makes it intimidating but I may just take the plunge...
