Optimum Gloss Coat Application Problem

The Guz,

Unfortunately I did not have the full 10cc's to work with. I shot about 3cc's in my hair because the plunger would not budge.

7cc's is more than enough to get two coats on an average size car.

:-) I would agree if in my case the coating flowed on easily. I imagine all the optimum paint prep dried off from wiping. As it turned out, I wound up tapping the syringe on a panel a few times as the syringe would leak small drops that I then swiped with the blue foam pad. We will have to see if my hair has gloss for two full years.

I certainly only have a little extra now and did not do the wheels and inside the door jamb inside door metal. But you guys are telling me to polish the whole thing off. As far as I can tell, per my pictures, the coating seems to have taken. Whether there is minor particulate contamination I am not sure. Polishing for me would be a full day job at my speed, especially since I'd have to mask all the trim for polishing.
