Optimum gloss coat paint coating

How long is the shelf life of this coating? The reason i asked is because i purchased this...
Optimum Gloss-Coat Paint Coating
on 10/24/14 and tried to use it last weekend. When i opened it, i found "hair gel" consistency substance inside the syringe instead of a liquid substance like it supose to be. What cause this? Thanks.
FYI..I contacted AGO yesterday but have not heard back from them.

Edit. I kept the syringe inside my house(kitchen area)
 
I would give AG a call and they will take care of you . usually these types of products have a descent shelf life , if they are not opened.
 
I would call Optimum Tech in TN also and ask them for the definitive answer.
 
I have had open syringes for many months before, worst it does is slightly yellow. Kept all the air bubbles out though. Sounds like yours is toast, sorry.
 
if it's closed and capped, it should last indefinitely. i have tubes of 2.0, unused, from when it was first released and they are as watery as they were when brand new. if it was closed/capped and there wasn't a massive amount of air in it, you surely have a defective syringe.
 
I tried to contact AGO via email twice and they did not reply to my emails. It's inconvenient for me to call them because i work nightshift. This is poor customer service to not reply to emails.
