Optimum hyper compound price jump so quickly?

I could have swore I added hyper compound to my cart earlier today and it was $24.99. When I placed my order just now, it jumped to $29.99. Unless I'm mistaken, that was an awfully quick price change on a product that was just released, and it didn't say "limited time pricing" when it was $24.99.

Just put it in my cart, didn't notice the $24.99 price, but you'll get 20% off this 4th of July.

I'm positive it was 24.99 when I put it in my cart because when I placed the order, it made me aware of the price jump to 29.99. I kept taking it in and out of my cart the past day or so, but I'm pretty sure I added it again today. I'm very thankful for the 20% off, or else I would never placed an order. It's just a bit dissatisfying when you have to pay more for a product than you originally thought. I'm not a tightwad, it's more a matter of principle. :)
 
Was it the introductory price? Just like the Sonax 5L wheel cleaner was $79, now it's $99 a 2 days later.

I stated in my original post that it didn't say "introductory pricing" when I added it to my cart. ;) I also said in my original post I could be mistaken. Someone from AG will answer my questions, I'm positive of that!! :dblthumb2:
 
Its suggested retail price is 24.99 and I think it was 24.99 last night when I looked. I would call them.
 
Just price match it to another site that has it for 24.99. I just saw 2 that have it at the lower price.

I'm positive it was 24.99 when I added it to my cart. I'm just not sure if I added it today or yesterday.

Very good point, thanks. :xyxthumbs: I'm sure when an AG rep sees this thread, they'll take care of me. I probably should have just called tomorrow. Oh well...
 
I called this morning and was given $5 store credit. They said they couldn't credit my order since it's already in the warehouse. Obviously, they could refund $5 back to my card if they wanted to, but it's not a big deal. My main point is, I really don't think you should jack up the price on a product $5 only a day or so after its release without a limited time or introductory price offer. As I said before, this is a matter of principle more so than anything. :)
 
sounds like it was repaired and doubt it was intentional. When theres an issue its best to call in versus a post so it can be handled immediately.
 
I was wrong about the MSRP, Hyper Compound is 29.99, it's the new Hyper Polish that is 24.99.
 
Glad to know it was a mistake and they didn't just decide to jack up the price so quickly. We all make mistakes. :)

I beleive that jump in price was attributed to financing another spectacular product that Dr.G is in the primary stage of producing :hungry:

I may be wrong though :help:
