Meghan, are the Polishing pads in the store now the new ones? Or still the original style?
 
I placed my order yesterday with the cutting and polishing pads. I called today to confirm if the polishing pads were the new ones and they said they were.
 
I assume these cutting pads can be used with most SMAT compounds including Meguiar's D300?
Just making sure.
 
is it just me or is this announcement just a tad anti-climatic?

This will be my first foray into mf cutting territory. Once I knew Optimum was going to come out with these, I held off on getting the Megs ones. I would love to see a side by side comparison of the two once someone whom has both gets their hot little hands on the Optimum cutting pads!!

I have the Megs pads, and just ordered the optimum cutting pads. My pads are coming from ADS though..so it could be a bit before I get them...
