I picked up some optimum no rinse wash and wax and Im a little hesitant to use it as a waterless wash..most of the time because from what Ive seen on reviews you should not use it if your car is really dirty. From what I also found out many people have different standards on what a really dirty car is. Here is texas really dirty means your car is covered with mud and you can't see the paint color anymore lol. Kidding aside I still plan to use the 2 bucket method with a hose but I was thinking I could get the benefit of this product as a "drying aid" I have heard about 50% of scratches happen during the drying process. I don't know how true this is but I have been hearing a lot on this issue. I was thinking before i dry off the water on the car after washing I could put this stuff in a spray bottle diluted as a quick detailer and spray it all over the car before I towel dry it. Any thoughts? I also have meguires last touch but I like the fact the optimum has wax in it for protection. Im not sure if I would gain anything from doing this but I thought I would ask to see what everyone thinks of this.

ONR is primarily designed to be used as a rinseless wash, not waterless. If you use in this manner, no need for traditional 2 bucket method.

Sorry about that i know how it's supposed to be used it was a error on my part with the wording..I'm still not convinced it's better than with a hose. Has anyone used this as a drying aid?

Can you use it as a drying aid, yes.

Is it the best one I've used, no. It will streak if your concentration is too high, requiring more buffing.

And it has less protection than other products as well.

with the right dilution i love to use rinseless/waterless wash for drying aid.
not only it helps clear up miss spot also add lubricity or protection while drying. :)

I just figured the lubricity was really good since they use it for rinse less wash.

You could always use the ONR -WW as a rinseless wash ( 1 oz to two gallons of water) on a not so dirty car and use Auqawax as your drying aid on a two bucket wash

I say if you have it then just use it as a drying aid. If you are looking to buy it for a drying aid I would suggest a couple other products first. Mix it in an old milk jug at 1oz ONRWW and 127oz DI water.
